Trans Voices

I am one individual trans nonbinary person.

And my lenses (white, trans, nonbinary, coming from a mixed class background, disabled and able-bodied at different times, neurodivergent, childhood abuse survivor, having access to working from home during the pandemic) directly influence the work that I’m doing.

Not every experience is represented here. Even many people with similar identities and experiences to my own still see and experience gender very differently than myself.

As you work to expand your own understanding and healing of your gender and your solidarity with gender expansive people, it is critical to get your information and content from many different sources - especially from identities different from your own, and different from mine.

I invite you to find some voices that can hold you where you’re at, some that challenge you, some that are easeful for you, and some that are difficult. We cannot grow without finding the balance of holding ourselves and pushing ourselves to our edges, and even a bit beyond.

I invite you to follow, learn from, and SUPPORT with your resources (money, time, and lifting people up in your own communities and platforms) these amazing gender expansive people doing their own amazing work.
